Hundreds Chant “Principal Down Down” Demanding Justice
Shadnagar, Telangana: Tension prevailed on the Shadnagar bypass road on Sunday morning as hundreds of students from the Nagar Kurnool Social Welfare Gurukula Degree College staged a flash protest alleging corruption and mismanagement within their institution.

According to reports, around 9:45 a.m., scores of female students marched out of their hostel premises located in the Noor Engineering College building at Kammadam outskirts, raising slogans against the college administration. Despite repeated efforts by faculty members to stop them, the students took to the streets demanding justice and immediate action against alleged irregularities.

The protestors carried placards reading “Stop Corruption First, Then Teach Education” and “End Bribery in Gurukul.” Chanting “Principal Down Down,” they occupied the national highway, disrupting vehicular movement and drawing the attention of bystanders and commuters.

Police rushed to the spot to control the situation and tried to pacify the agitated students, urging them to return to the campus. However, the students remained firm, stating they would continue their protest until authorities address their grievances.

The sudden demonstration caused temporary traffic chaos on the Shadnagar bypass, though no untoward incidents were reported.
