Women’s Leadership Enters a New Era: “Stree 5.0” Conference Begins at IFHE
Shankarpalli, Telangana: The International Conference titled “Stree 5.0: Power, Progress, Possibilities — Redefining Womanhood in a Changing World” commenced with grandeur at the IFHE campus on Saturday. The two-day event is jointly organized by the IFHE Center for Women Development and the University of Hyderabad’s Centre for Women’s Studies, bringing together experts from India and abroad to deliberate on evolving dimensions of women’s empowerment.
The conference was formally inaugurated with a ceremonial lamp-lighting by Sobha Rani Yasaswy, Chairperson of the ICFAI Society.

Chief Guest Shailaja Kiran emphasized that women deserve not only equal opportunities but also equal respect in every sphere of life. She noted that true leadership is defined by compassion, collaboration, and perseverance. Sharing her journey in building the Margadarshini organization, she highlighted that innovation and inclusivity are key drivers of progress.
