Revenue Officials Demolish Unauthorized Structures in Shamshiguda

Revenue Officials Demolish Unauthorized Structures in Shamshiguda Kukatpally: Revenue authorities have cracked down on an illegal encroachment attempt in Shamsiguda, where private individuals tried to occupy Government land by misusing fake survey documents. The incident occurred in Survey No. 57 of Shamshiguda Village, behind GodhaKrishna Function Hall, Yellammabanda, falling under Kukatpally Mandal of Medchal–Malkajgiri district. The land in question is a 1200-square-yard Government commercial parcel, estimated to be worth nearly ₹15 crore. However, certain private individuals attempted to grab this prime land by falsely using documents related to Survey No. 32, which actually pertains to Baghameeri Lake and its associated nala as per Government records. The encroachers allegedly used these unrelated private documents to justify their illegal occupation and began putting up commercial shutters on the site In the past, a Government land indicator board was displayed at the location, but the encroachers reportedly removed the signboard and carried out construction aggressively—sometimes during holidays and even at night—showing complete disregard for the law. Following complaints from local residents, Revenue officials visited the spot, verified the land records, and confirmed that the construction was illegal. Responding immediately, the authorities demolished the unauthorized shutters and cleared the illegal structures erected on Government land. Officials stated that the land has been restored to its original status and assured that stricter measures will be taken to prevent such violations in the future. Local residents expressed relief and appreciated the prompt action of the Revenue Department, urging continuous monitoring to ensure no further illegal constructions take place in the area.
