The MEO announced that Poornima Vidyanikethan School has been immediately closed and sealed. She stated that a comprehensive inquiry has been ordered, and strict action will be taken against the school management based on the directives of district education officials.
The injured child is currently undergoing treatment at Ram Hospital. Police have already registered a case, and by Saturday afternoon, both the school attendant and the principal were arrested and sent to remand in connection with the assault.
The MEO confirmed that the school will remain shut pending completion of the investigation.
