Rachakonda, July 9, 2025 — The Traffic Training Institute of Rachakonda continues to make commendable strides in promoting road safety and responsible traffic behavior through a series of awareness programs and counseling sessions. On July 8, 2025, the institute successfully conducted a total of 15 awareness programs, reaching out to 545 individuals across various educational institutions and public venues.
A key highlight of the day was the session held at the Children Traffic Park in LB Nagar, where road users were educated on the classification and significance of road signage boards. This initiative aimed to instill a foundational understanding of traffic symbols among the general public, especially young learners.
The awareness drive extended to several schools, including Z.P.H.S and Upper Primary Schools in Korremula, Dhatarpally, and Pratasingaram, as well as the Kakatiya Group of Schools and Kakatiya I.I.T. School in Peerzadiguda. Additionally, MPPS School in Dathupally, Yadagirigutta, also hosted a session, ensuring that students from diverse regions were included in the safety education efforts.
In a special engagement, students from ZPHS Government School, Vanasthalipuram, visited the Children Traffic Park and participated in an interactive road safety awareness session, gaining practical insights into safe pedestrian and commuter behavior.
Complementing these educational efforts, the institute also organized five Drink-and-Drive (DD) counseling sessions, attended by 104 individuals. These sessions focused on the dangers of impaired driving and emphasized the legal and personal consequences of such actions.
The Inspector of the Traffic Training Institute, Rachakonda, reaffirmed the department’s commitment to fostering a culture of safety and responsibility on the roads. Through consistent outreach and education, the institute aims to build a more informed and cautious community of road users.
