Residents allege that despite receiving the government’s No Objection Certificate (NOC) three months ago, Vasavi Group has not resumed construction work. Members claim to have held multiple follow-ups, meetings and protests at the company's corporate office, but say the response from the management has been “arrogant” and “uncooperative.”

The protest is scheduled to begin at 10 AM at the Vasavi Urban project site, with homeowners demanding clear timelines, fair compensation, and immediate restoration of on-site construction activity.

Concerns Over Delayed Handover

Buyers say they were initially promised possession by December 2024, but the timeline has repeatedly shifted — from December 2024 to August 2025, then December 2025, and now reportedly to April 2026. Customers allege that no labor is currently deployed at the site and accuse the company of applying for a RERA extension despite earlier assurances that no such move would be made.

Residents also claim contradictory statements from different CRM representatives and project heads. “Every person from the management gives a different timeline. There is no consistent information,” one owner stated.

Compensation Dispute

During a meeting at Sidh Convention, Kompally, Vasavi Group director Abhishek reportedly announced a ₹7,000 monthly compensation, but buyers argue the amount is unrealistic given the heavy financial burden of EMI + rent + daily living costs.

Customers also cite past public commitments from the company’s leadership claiming that in case of delays beyond August 2025, compensation equivalent to a 2BHK rent in Bachupally would be paid.

Disagreement Over Debris Charges

Buyers allege that Vasavi Group is imposing a ₹30,000 debris removal fee, despite senior leader Vijay Kumar reportedly instructing the management to cap the charges between ₹3,000 and ₹5,000. Residents say the CRM team has ignored this commitment.

Homebuyers Demand Unity and Accountability

Organizers are urging all flat owners to gather in large numbers for the protest, stressing the need for collective action to ensure timely handover and fair treatment of buyers who invested their lifetime savings.
