Questions Over Driver’s Medical Condition

Parents and locals raised serious concerns over the school management’s decision to employ a driver allegedly known to have a history of seizures.

They questioned whether the school was aware of his medical condition and still placed him on duty, endangering the students’ lives.

Police Investigation Underway

Keersar Police visited the accident site, registered a case, and initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash.

Parents demanded a full inquiry into:

• The driver’s fitness and medical history

• The school management’s negligence

• Safety standards followed by private schools

They emphasized that such negligence puts students’ lives at risk and urged the Education Department to carry out regular inspections of private school buses—especially in rural areas.

Parents insisted on:

• Regular fitness checks for school buses

• Verification of drivers’ qualifications and health

• Daily health and sobriety checks (including breathalyzer tests) before drivers begin duty

They urged school authorities to take responsibility and ensure strict compliance with safety protocols to protect students.

According to police reports, Yadayya, a daily wage laborer, allegedly attacked his wife Alavelu, sister-in-law Hanmamma, and daughter Shravanthi with a sickle, resulting in their deaths on the spot. His younger daughter, Aparna, managed to escape the attack and survived.

Locals revealed that Yadayya had frequent quarrels with his wife over suspicions of infidelity. On the day of the incident, when his sister-in-law Hanmamma came to resolve the dispute, Yadayya attacked all three women in a fit of rage. Following the murders, he hanged himself inside the house.

Parigi DSP Srinivas and police teams reached the spot and began an investigation. The exact motive behind the killings and suicide is still under investigation, officials said.
